The third of back-to-back-to-back Oscar nominations for Best Original Score by Dave Grusin for Sydney Pollack as both director and producer. The others were Milagro (1988) --for which Grusin won his only Oscar and the only that wasn't made by Pollack --Havana (1990) and I favolosi Baker (1989) - which was produced by Pollack but not directed.
