Lois Lane's "You smell good" line to Clark Kent shortly after his resurrection, which was recorded during a looping session under Joss Whedon's direction, was almost accidentally included in the film. Producer Deborah Snyder caught the line in one of the last cuts of the film, and said "[Lois] shouldn't be saying that! It doesn't matter how he smells!"
