14 years after the film's cinema release, Robert De Niro starred opposite Robin Williams in Risvegli (1990). Robin Williams later starred in One Hour Photo (2002) which is a similar film to Taxi Driver. In that film, Williams stars as lonely mentally disturbed photo developer Seymour Parrish who stalks the Yorkin family whose photos he develops and keeps copies for himself. He goes vigilante and decides to exact revenge on the family's patriarch Will Michael Vartan when he discovers he is having an affair with another woman.
