This was the only stand-alone Hulk film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Other than Lou Ferrigno, nobody from this film returned to their roles until William Hurt appeared in Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Black Widow (2021). Tim Roth reprises his role as Blonsky / The Abomination in Shang-Chi e la leggenda dei dieci anelli (2021), and in the Disney+ series She-Hulk (2022).
