The pub scenes were filmed at Tuners Old Star in Wapping. Many of the fittings were changed or painted over for the production. The screen mounted on top of the bar is real, but some of it was removed for the large cameras to get the required shot. Light fittings were changed and walls were repainted for the filming. The square brewery signs are original.
