A future 65-year-old version of Static appeared as a member of the Justice League Unlimited in the animated series Justice League Unlimited (2004) at the end of Justice League Unlimited: The Once and Future Thing, Part One: Weird Western Tales (2005) and in Justice League Unlimited: The Once and Future Thing, Part Two: Time, Warped (2005), which first aired in January 2005. The latter follows up on two episodes from Season 4, with Green Lantern mentioning that the last time he saw Static, which was in Static Shock: Fallen Hero (2004), he was too young to drive, and Batman finding out details about the future after he told Static not to tell him about the future at the end of Static Shock: Future Shock (2004). The 65-year-old Static had gray hair and wore a different costume that his slightly younger future self wore in Static Shock: Future Shock (2004), which is more like his second costume from this series, only with a different and darker-colored mask.
