Director David F. Sandberg requested custom animated opening studio logos for Warner Bros., New Line Cinema, and DC to open the film, as opposed to using the defaults. In making this request, according to Sandberg, he forgot/disregarded the "DC" studio logo featuring animated versions of the Justice League characters which debuted with Wonder Woman (2017), leading to minor fan disappointment.
