Unlike the MUTOs and Ghidorah himself in previous MonsterVerse movies, Mechagodzilla, once taken over by Ghidorah, emerges upon Hong Kong and battles Kong and Godzilla in the broad daylight of a grim, grey morning. Specifically, Mechagodzilla emerges just after dawn has broken.
