Wick's true name is Jardani Jovonovich. Jovon is the Serbian Hebrew form of the name John. His last name means "son of John". Jardani is from the Hebrew which means "of the garden". As is seen by the crucifix, his tribe was obviously formerly Jewish but had converted to Christianity at some point.He also identifies the tribes origins as being in Belarus. This is the former Soviet state which borders Poland at the west and has Minsk as its capital.
