The motivation for writing a scene with an automatic food hydrating device in the future was due to product placement needs to receive Pizza Hut's sponsorship. Pizza Hut provided a professional food stylist and pizza kitchen to be at the set of the 2015 McFly house to make hot, attractive pizzas for each take.
