Near the end of the movie, Schindler is meeting with Goeth to discuss adding Helen Hirsch to his list. At first Goeth tells him "no", which prompts Schindler to challenge him to a game of 21, whereas "If you win, I'll pay you 7,400 Reichsmarks for her, 14,800 if you get a natural 21. If I win, I take her with me." Closer examination of his wager with Goeth reveals that there is actually no way, by the terms of the wager, for Goeth to keep Helen, because whether he wins or lose Schindler would still take her. This clever tactic is testament to how Schindler was able to constantly outsmart the Nazi's around him.
