In the film, Kelly and his crew ultimately steal $12 million worth of gold. During WWII, gold was worth $35 per troy ounce. Today, it is worth approximately $1000 per ounce, or about 35 times as much face value. This equals $360 to $400 million. After factoring in inflation, assuming everyone kept the actual gold bars until today, the total value would be somewhere in the range of $2 billion to $2.4 billion. Split 12 ways, this would give each man (or his heirs) about $200 million.
