Episode 6 was entirely filmed in the small town of Ronda, Spain, except the inside of the church. The city has only about 33.000 inhabitants. Ronda was founded around year 500, and has since been the epicentre of a lot of wars. During the year 1065 the population decreased from 15.600 to 5.000.
