The facial designs for the Polis Massan aliens that assist in the birth of Luke and Leia are based on concepts drawn by Doug Chiang for the Kaminoans in Star Wars: Episodio II - L'attacco dei cloni (2002). Chiang served as concept design supervisor on Episodes I and II but was otherwise not involved with Episode III.
