The Drucilla's Pond part of the exterior set was sometimes drained of water so it could be used as a different set. This can be seen in Una famiglia americana: The Lie (1975) (Eustace Madden's farm) and Una famiglia americana: The Pursuit (1981) (Japanese POW camp).
