Clocks and time are a major motif in this movie. In addition to the large clock tower at Hogwarts, there are other clocks that chime at various points in the movie, when an important event takes place, such as the cuckoo clock in the Dursley's house, which goes off when Harry blows up Aunt Marge, and the grandfather clock in the Hogsmeade tavern, which chimes right when Harry learns that Sirius Black is his godfather.
