With the exception of Francesca Annis, all of the actors portraying members of the Atreides family later worked with David Lynch on Twin Peaks productions. Kyle MacLachlan starred in both television series' and had a supporting role in Fuoco cammina con me (1992), Jürgen Prochnow appeared in Fuoco cammina con me (1992), and Alicia Witt appeared in both the original series and (more prominently) in Twin Peaks: il ritorno (2017).
