At one point at DragonCon in 2002, Lisa Wilcox said she was in early discussions to appear somewhere in the movie as her character Alice Johnson. Her agent contacted New Line and told them she was willing to work on the movie for scale if they flew her up to Canada to do it and put her up in a Hotel. However, the studio didn't go for it though and was let go.
