This movie marks the last time when there is a gap of two or more years between the appearances of two consecutive movies directed by Woodie Allen (the previous one, Stardust Memories (1980), appeared on the big screen two years earlier, in 1980). From 1982 onward until current date (2017) Woodie Allen will be able to show at least one movie each year which bears his name as a director or a co-director.
