Bradley Cooper flew to Lady Gaga to show her the final cut of the film before it was to go to the film festivals. Lady Gaga admitted that from the very first frame of the film, she had burst into tears and cried throughout the entire movie. She had to watch the film several times before she could watch it as an audience member.
