Both Glenn Howerton (Dennis) and Rob McElhenney (Mac) had parts in the TV show ER. Rob played Andy a hurt firefighter and Glenn played Dr. Nick Cooper for 6 episodes. They have both also acted in Fargo and The Mindy Project as well.
