After the scene where Kevin and Butz gets arrested for spying on the other kids Kevin is seen throwing down a local paper that reads Local Hero Gets Arrested. Kevin then states to his wife that he's on a roll, going out the window the night before and then getting arrested that day. The paper would most likely not have printed an article that same day about the arrest therefore it should have came out the next morning . He is also seen wearing the same dark green polo in both scenes which provides more clarification it's the same day.
