The song "Love is an Open Door" is meant to serve as a double meaning for both Anna and Hans. When Anna sings it, she thinks of love as a close relationship, using it as a way to escape her locked up life. When Hans sings it though, he is only using Anna's love for him to steal the throne, which he will gain control of once Elsa is killed.
