Justin Lin recalls meeting with Vin Diesel to discuss a cameo at the end of Tokyo Drift. "I had heard that there's no way he was coming back to the franchise," but they connected on the mythology, and Diesel should be *very* grateful to Lin for pulling him back in to this money-printing enterprise.
