Remade in 1987 as a TV film, with Catherine Oxenberg and Tom Conti. Catherine Oxenberg has previously portrayed Princess Diana in 1982 and 1992 television films, as well as playing the American wife to fictional Prince Michael on the TV series Dynasty (1981). In real life, she is the daughter of Yugoslavian princess Elizabeth and Howard Oxenberg.
