Harold Tichenor and Rolf Zehetbauer scouted the Hotel Europe in Vancouver, British Columbia to use as Koreander's Bookstore. This location was used as Koreander's Bookstore for the first two movies. This was partially the reason that the real world scenes were filmed in Vancouver.
