Pokémon: Pokémon, I Choose You! (1997), Pokémon: My Dream, Pokémon Master!! (2013), and Pokémon: Parting with Pikachu...! (2002) are the only episodes of the entire series in which Ash was the only human protagonist featured. While Misty did appear in the first episode, she was not featured prominently, and no other protagonists had made their debuts.
