In the series, Lilly Kane (Amanda Seyfried) was murdered on October 3rd. This date ironically coincides with the now iconic question from Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls (2004) (also co-starring Seyfried) when she doesn't know the date. October 3rd has since become the unofficial holiday "Mean Girls' Day".
