The mid-credit scene shows Erica recruiting another band known as The Misfits to help her take down Jem and The Holograms. In Jem e le Holograms (1985) The Misfits were their number one rivals throughout the series. The scene was supposed to tease a potential sequel, that never happened after the film bombed at the box office.
