Originally the Predalien was to skin several of its victims including some of the Predator's it killed, showing that it still has some Predator instincts. Stills of the skinned predators can be seen in Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff Jr's. book, AVPR: Inside the Monster Shop, although the scenes were deleted from the film. Furthermore the Predalien was originally going to use Predator technology, including Wristblades, Plasmacaster, and an Invisibility Cloak. But this idea was removed in the final cut the film.
