Like most pilots, the pilot for this show went un-produced for some time. Its date of writing, however, can be determined by several references. There are numerous references to 1940/1941 having been thirty years prior (a sunken Japanese Zero from Pearl Harbor being thirty years old) as well as a Naval officer commenting that he had served three wars in thirty years, which would have been impossible after 1975. Lastly, a character is nineteen, having married at eleven, and served as a drug king pin during the 1960s. All of this points to the pilot being sometime in the early 1970s.
