Despite being a Jedi, Luke shows several traits that could lure him to the Dark Side, such as force choking, getting angry at Darth Vader after the latter threatens to turn Leia to the Dark Side, and wearing black. Another thing Luke did that could show signs of being lured to the Dark Side is at Jabba's sail barge, when he aggressively attacked all of Jabba's henchmen. However, despite Yoda teaching Luke that Jedi's never use their powers for attack, according to the original novel, attacking is only permissible when a Jedi is outnumbered.
