The first middle installment of a Star Wars trilogy to include a proper space battle. L'Impero colpisce ancora (1980) only has a few scenes of a Star Destroyer chasing the Millennium Falcon, and Star Wars: Episodio II - L'attacco dei cloni (2002) only has a dogfight between Jango Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
