In possibly not a coincidence, Filmways would later become part of Orion Pictures, which, in turn, would have almost their entire combined library be acquired by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. MGM later released the animated La famiglia Addams (2019) via their United Artist label/Universal Pictures. It's unclear whether the computer animation is based solely upon original Charles Addams source material or, due to legacy rights, in part on the "inherited" Filmways television version.
