In a May 2017 interview with Diabolique Magazine, Gina Philips confirmed her role in this film as a cameo to set up what will happen with her character in future installments, also confirming that "Jeepers Creepers 4" had already been written with plans to go in front of the cameras. But the studio dropped her and Victor Salvo when the fourth film was greenlit.
