For the American theatrical release, a few lines were Americanized. In one scene, they are watching Hey Hey It's Saturday and it is changed to Funniest Home Videos. The line 'Gong him, Red' remained which made no sense. 'Rissoles' was changed to 'meatloaf' and 'ice-cream bucket' was changed to 'ice-cream tub'.
