This movie was such a bomb, and ruined so many careers, there's actually a "Batman's curse" associated with it: Chris O'Donnell, Alicia Silverstone and Joel Schumacher all went into serious career slumps after this movie. The only survivors were Arnold Schwarzenegger and George Clooney, who was starring on E.R. - Medici in prima linea (1994) at the time and was able to springboard from this to other box office hits, A-list actor stardom, and Oscar-winning status.
