Submitted to the British Board of Film Censors under the title Fugitive by UK distributor Archway and passed with an "A" certificate on 13 December 1951. The London premiere was at the Marble Arch Pavilion (owned by Archway) on 7 February 1952 and ran three weeks, closing on 27 February 1952.
