The character of Hal Jordan/Green Lantern has been teased in many episodes that mentioned Ferris Airlines. It wasn't until ep.22 where his character was offically hinted at when Snart says "Ferris Air? I thought this place got shut down" and Barry replies "It did, one of their test pilots disappeared." which is an essential event in Hal Jordan's induction into the Green Lantern Corps.
