(at around 1h 8 mins) When Norrington introduces himself to Gibbs on Tortuga, he says that his story is 'the same as yours, just one chapter behind'. Later on he is dumped in the pigsty after the fight in the pub. This is the same setting (perhaps even the same pigs) as where Jack Sparrow found Gibbs in the first movie, the previous chapter.
