Throughout the entire series, John Forsythe had a wonderful on- and off-camera relationship with Linda Evans. She said in various interviews she was closest to him on the set, than anyone, and that they shared the history that stretched further than the show, throughout almost the entire series' run, though, Evans departed, just episodes before the finale.
