In either Pinocchio (1940) animated classic, the live-action TV musical The Wonderful World of Disney: Geppetto (2000), and this 2022 live-action adaptation, Stromboli received a comeuppance in some way, however, in the last case he received a more concrete on-screen comeuppance. Another similar case is Lady Tremaine from Cinderella, who lost said titular character as her servant to abuse and had her marrying the Prince instead of one of her two daughters, while in Cenerentola (2015) live-action remake she was exiled from the kingdom along with the now villainous and conspiring Grand Duke.
