Late in the film Quinn McKenna is asked by Traeger to surrender as the Project Stargazer group had 7 men and the Loonies only had 6. A sniper took out one of the Stargazers to even the numbers and McKenna asks Traeger, "Who taught you math?" That same line is asked by Perry (Val Kilmer) to Harry (Robert Downey Jr.) in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005), also written by Shane Black.
