Bibi Besch, who played Megan Wallace, Dr Jim Wallace's wife, also played Dr. Carol Marcus in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. She was a former lover of James T. Kirk, and mother of his only known child, David, and Kirk, of course, is usually called "Jim".
