Dame Angela Lansbury (Mrs. Potts) also played Mrs. Nellie Lovett in the original production of "Sweeney Todd". In La bella e la bestia (2017), Mrs. Potts was played by Dame Emma Thompson, who played Mrs. Nellie Lovett at the Lincoln Center performance of "Sweeney Todd".
