Whenever Angelique would cast a love spell, a pitchfork tattoo would appear on the hand of the two people affected. This was done twice: first with Jeremiah Collins & Josette duPres, then later with Maggie Evans, who resembled Josette, and Quentin Collins. Both times this was done so she could have Barnabas to herself due to the brief affair they had in her home country of Martinique.
