Quicksilver dies saving Hawkeye and the Sokovia boy. In X-Men - Giorni di un futuro passato (2014), Quicksilver's movements are so fast that bullets appear almost motionless to him. There is evidence in this movie that Quicksilver may be as fast as his "Days of Future Past" counterpart (for example, he is able to attempt to grab Mjölnir in mid air). This has sparked some controversy among fans who believe Quicksilver should have been able to avoid the bullets at the end of this film. A partial explanation is found in the licensing agreement between Marvel and Fox, whereby no references to Quicksilver's affiliation with the X-Men can be made in a Marvel movie, and vice versa. Additionally, the screenwriters for this movie deliberately reduced the scope of Quicksilver's power, which served to further distinguish him from his X-Men doppelganger.
