Movies such as Jean-Claude Van Damme's "Hard Target"(1993), Ice-T's "Surviving The Game"(1994), and Scott Atkins "Hard Target 2"(2016), all had the same premise as "Avenging Force"(1986) did, where someone is being hunted by a group of wealthy people for sport. In all the movies the people who are being hunted have to reach a specific destination in order to win their life, and/or a large sum of money. Not crossing that final destination means that they were killed by the people who were hunting them.
