Jonathan Avildsen, who is the son of the director of this film John G. Avildsen, can be briefly seen during the Rocky's street fight with Tommy Gunn and is credited as "druggie." In the director's cut of Rocky 5, he has a scene where he gets into an altercation with Paulie on the street which almost turned physical.
