The entire scene with the sword fight in the room behind the art auction gallery has parallel structure to the sword fight between Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) near the beginning of La maledizione della prima luna (2003). The spoken dialogue is also very similar in tone and content.
